Once a year the non-profits of Marion County participate in a friendly contest to raise funds for the good of the community.
With your support, we are able to provide curriculum - books, DVDs, teaching materials, along with notebooks, pencils and other supplies for the participants of Operation Launch to complete their assignments.
We have special projects like the Garden Project - we have been given another acre to develop and we need funding for the irrigation system. While we teach the guys how to prepare the ground, install irrigation, germinate seeds and grow vegetables, we are also able to share the harvest of fresh, healthy produce with local food banks and shelters.
We are also able to provide them a basic starter kit when the end of their sentence comes - as needed we give them clothing, work boots, tools, basic hygiene and food, and assistance with a place to live.
"This program allowed me to recharge my batteries. It was a safe place where God could minister to me – I’ll never forget that. God is good and you people are awesome – I just want to thank you."
