On a beautiful sunny morning in October, a crowd of about 40 folks gathered at Blackjack’s Sporting Clays in Sumterville, FL, for a “shoot out” to benefit Xtreme SOULutions.
34 shooters took on the challenging Orange Course and tried to hit the highest number of clay pigeons. When the dust had settled, the first-place prize went to Sonny’s BBQ team with 321 (far exceeding their 2022 score of 248). Second place was taken by Perry's Hill Bulldozing with 298 points, and third was Josh Wilson with 287 points.
But everyone was a winner when lunch was served, courtesy of Sonny’s BBQ – pulled pork with slaw and mac n cheese, and corn muffins.
A brief overview of what Xtreme SOULutions does was presented by President Blaine Whitt and Kimberly Whitt shared a recent success story.
We are so grateful to the local businesses that sponsored the event and the additional donors who helped make the day a success.
First Place - Sonny’s BBQ
Second place - Perry's Hill Bulldozing
Third Place - Josh Wilson
Trophies were awarded to members of the three winning teams by Xtreme SOULutions President, Blaine Whitt.
